Students seeking admission to this college must be 17 years old by December 31st of the admission year. Students with a minimum of 50 percent in science subjects, including biology or biotechnology, as well as Physics and Chemistry, are eligible (in the case of SC/ST students, 40 percent in board examinations; 45 percent for OBC students). The Chettinad Medical College campus spans more than 33 acres and is home to a community of students, researchers, and health professionals dedicated to improving the health of the greater community. In the college building, there are seven lecture halls, each with a capacity of 300 students. There is a 300-seat lecture hall in the hospital building. Practical practise in well-equipped laboratories supplements our lectures. Over 90 pupils can be accommodated in each laboratory. Students can receive training and lead discussions in small groups in each laboratory's presentation room.
The CMCH library has an area of 4000 square metres and is well-stocked with about 20,310 books and 218 journals, 121 of which are international and 97 of which are national. The library also has online journal subscriptions. With approximately 40 computers, high-speed internet access, and audio-visual resources, the digital library is well-liked. There are two different reading rooms, one inside and one outside, each with a capacity of 250 people. There are separate staff rooms and reading rooms for PG students here. In addition to these features, the library is barcoded and has reprographic capabilities that can print 14 pages per minute.

Hostel: - Students may arrive two days ahead to the commencement of the academic semester and must exit Residential rooms within two days of the completion of regular exams. Rooms have a bed, a table, a chair, and almirahs. Mess with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.
Report: - A student must offer a narrative of an event or report facts from a book, article, or other source in a college report. While some research may be required when writing a report, it is mostly a document that asks you to understand rather than obtain the data on which you report.
Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute situated in Kelambakkam, Kanchipuram Distance, Tamandu State, on Mahabaipuram Road, NH-49A.
